How Louisiana and the United States will meet exploding energy needs is the focus of a town hall meeting being hosted by the LSU Center for Energy Studies and ConocoPhillips at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 13th at the Baton Rouge River Center. Baton Rouge residents and those of the nearlying parishes are invited to discuss the future of energy as part of a Conversation on Energy, a public outreach program that will include local business and industry leaders in addition to ConocoPhillips' David Dismukes, a professor and associate director of the center, who will serve as moderator. Baton Rouge is the 33rd stop on the ConocoPhillips national "listening tour." Registration is free and begins at 6:30 p.m. Validated parking will be available at the east and west garages at Government and St. Louis streets. Seating is limited.
